Max Verstappen won his second world championship in the Red Bull, finishing with 454 points and a record-breaking 15 wins.
Early championship protagonist Charles Leclerc finished 2nd with 308 points and Sergio Perez finished 3rd, only 3 points behindwith 305 points. Perez and Verstappen also brought Red Bull their 5th constructor's title.
After a tough season, Mercedes did well to come back, with george Russell finishing P4 with 275 points and getting his maiden win this season. Carlos Sainz finished P5 with 246 points for Ferrari amd Lewis Hamilton P6 with 240 points and, for the first season in his career, did not achieve a single race win.
Alpine had an arguably difficult season, but finished P4 in the constructor's championship. Esteban Ocon finished P8 with 92 points and Fernando Alonso with terrible luck with mechanical failures finished P9 with 81 points overall.
A good season for Lando Norris in the McLaren left him in 7th with 122 points.

After his return to formula 1, Fernando Alonso had a good season with the Alpine team to finish 10th with 81 points. His team-mate Esteban Ocon became a Grand Prix winner last season and finished 11th with 74 points.
Aston Martin underachieved compared to everyone's expectations, but their drivers still had a respectable season. Sebastian Vettel finished 12th with 43 points and Lance Stroll finished 13th with 34 points.
Yuki Tsunoda finished 14th in his rookie season of Formula 1 with 32 points.
George Russel earned his first points with Williams last season, ending the season 15th with 16 points.
Kimi Raikkonen's final season in Formula 1 ended in 16th with 10 points.
Williams scored even more points last season with Nicholas Latifi. He finished 17th with 7 points.
